I work in both social services and health and as the 2 jobs are slightly different I have two job titles:
- In social services I am the service manager for children with disabilities (which includes learning disabilities)
- In health I am the service manager for children with learning disabilities.
I manage the health teams and the social services teams for children with learning disabilities. The learning disability services that I manage currently are:
- Westwood Bungalow
- Intensive Intervention Team
- Specialist Health Care Team
- Team for Children with Disabilities
From March 2007 these teams will join together to form one learning disability service for children which will be called JIGSAW.
