As a member of the Partnership Board you are responsible with other members for:
- Working on planning for people with learning disabilities and their carers in your area.
- Making sure the plans the Government asks for are done and in the right time scale.
- Helping people with learning disability and their carers say what they want, checking that their views have been listened to and making sure that changes happen.
- Keeping people up to date with what is going on and how things will affect them. That might be where you work or where you live.
- Checking the right services are available and that they are working properly.
- Making sure the plans and changes happen
- Telling the Board about things you know that will help plans
- Telling your organisation what has been decided. Helping your organisation to change.
- Being the person in your organisation who is able to make decisions. Being the Champion for the White paper
